Kevin Leysath II is an award-winning composer, saxophonist, and conductor based in Los Angeles, originally from Rochester, NY. Kevin is celebrated for his sensitivity, multilayered compositions, use of altered saxophone and memorable themes. From collaborating with directors to working with orchestras, his goal is always to tell a story through his music. Inspired at age six after a movie score moved him to tears, Kevin knew then that he wanted to create music that could evoke deep emotions in others. Kevin is the recipient of the 2024 ASCAP Foundation Jimmy Van Heusen Award, recognizing a promising composer pursuing a career in television and film scoring.
