Part of the SESAC Scores initiative to promote diversity in film scoring, the panel will be held via Zoom on Thursday, August 27th at 6:00 pm pacific. Leading industry professionals will discuss tips and tools for advancing underrepresented composers' careers, including: how they find new talent, what credits they look for when hiring composers, and how composers can use reels and demos to gain attention.
The panel will be moderated by composer Jongnic "JB" Bontemps, with guest panelists producer/showrunner Aaron Rahsaan Thomas, music executive Angela Leus, film director Steven Caple Jr., and more!
